A LITTLE ABOUT MY TWO SPARROWS

My Two Sparrows is all about sharing, caring, and creating a space for women to know that they are not alone in this giant world even though it can seem so very small.

I have been through some pretty amazing things in my life, some incredible life changing events, and also some pretty awful and traumatic experiences.  Through my journey that is life, I realize more and more just how important it is as a woman to help other women.  To bring them up rather than tear them down.  To support through the good times and the bad.  To remind each of us that we are not alone in our joy nor alone in our sorrow.  That our goal should be to acknowledge the journey and story of each woman and remind them 'you're not alone'..."I'm not here to judge you"... and "lets get through this together" because why do this thing called 'life' alone?  I have been on what I call a healing journey the last few years and my goal is that in sharing my experiences I can help at least maybe even one other woman heal as well.  That through my laughter I can make someone else laugh.  And through my daily stresses, by sharing them we can all realize that we are not alone in having them.  That we all carry this burden of being judged.  That the amount of pressure we put on ourselves is really only affecting us personally and our ability to be the best versions of ourselves. The goal here is to work towards living my best life and perhaps helping another woman along the way.

My Two Sparrows represents so many different facets of my life, namely, my two wonderful children who have changed me for the better in so many ways exhausted as I may be;  my past and present and how they impact one another but do not define one another;  my healing and how although a shadow may be following me I no longer need to be afraid of it or let it control my life or my day to day, I choose to live in the light not in the past shadows; and my faith and how it has grown from allowing my faith to be greater than my fears and how my many blessings have changed my course and journey through life.

It is thought that when you see two sparrows one resembles flight and one resembles grounding.  So My Two Sparrows is my way of growing and my way of remembering all that grounds me and focus on the good that God has given me.

ABOUT ME

me%20headshot_edited.jpg

I'm a Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Friend, and Christian. Those are the most important titles on my resume I believe, but should you crave a bit more... I have a Bachelors Degree in Communications; specifically a B.A. in Scientific and Technical Communications with a Minor in Art and International Business.

I have worked with Fortune 100 Companies, sold to the Big Wigs, partnered with the best of the best, and traveled the world. I have had multiple 'Wins' but nothing quite gives me the peace that writing does and the joy that maybe I can help another Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister, or a Friend.
